What can you run for?
Senator
ASUCD Senators decide how to allocate the $20 million dollar budget, advocate for student needs and represent the student body to administration, and oversee and provide support to ASUCD’s units and committees, including Unitrans, the CoHo, Bike Barn, Picnic Day, and more. They also conduct outreach to student and student groups on campus as well as working on advocacy projects that include multiple organizations on and off campus. Examples include menstrual products being offered for free at the Pantry and improving communication and support for RSOs.
Executive Ticket (President and Internal Vice President)
The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer of and the official representative of ASUCD. They are responsible for coordinating functions of the Executive Office and oversee the appointment of several offices including ASUCD Unit Directors and the ASUCD Controller. The President has the sole authority to make treaties, memorandums of understanding, or other legally binding contracts on behalf of the ASUCD, subject to the approval of the Senate.
The Internal Vice President is the presiding officer over all Senate meetings and assists in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the ASUCD. Along with the President, they serve as ex-officio members on all committees requiring student membership. In the instance that the President is unable to fulfill the duties of the office, the Internal Vice President assumes the position of ASUCD President.

External Affairs Vice President
The Office of the External Affairs Vice President (EAVP) is the advocacy branch of the Associated Students of UC Davis’ (ASUCD) executive office. The EAVP is the official representative of ASUCD to the University of California Student Association, and to all governmental bodies, including but not limited to local, state, and federal governments. They coordinate lobbying and advocacy events to inform and engage the student body in all external affairs, advocating for race, gender, immigration background, and religious equality within the UC Davis campus. Transfer Student Representative
The Transfer Student Representative (TSR) represents ASUCD in discussions with the university or campus administration regarding transfer students and represents the collective interests of the transfer student body as an ex-officio member of the ASUCD Senate. The TSR is responsible for engaging the transfer student body and actively promoting, initiating, and supporting efforts to make UC Davis an equitable environment for transfer students.
International Student Representative
The International Student Representative (ISR) represents ASUCD in discussions with the university or campus administration regarding international students and represents the collective interests of the international student body as an ex-officio member of the ASUCD Senate. The ISR assists the transfer student body in overcoming cultural, language, and other barriers and honors the diversity of the international student body on campus.
Student Advocate
The Student Advocate advises students on behavior and academic misconduct, fully independent from the university administrators and facility. The Student Advocate provides case-by-case assistance for students suspected of violating the Code of Conduct, such as plagiarism, grade disputes, or unfair testing procedures.
